#HOW DO I NOT SHOW DECLINED MEETINGS ON CALENDAR APP FOR MAC PLUS#
Plus 1 on the phanton meetings coming from a delegate/departed user, etc. Figured my stories might spark something for you to check into. Sorry if that is no help at all, I hate the one off situations where there is no place to start. Anyone that user had share the calendar or the events specifically would get those phantom notifications. His inactive account would still contain the dates for a non-existent event at that point. The last time I saw phantom meetings like that one were when a user had setup the initial events repeating in the calendar and then said user left the company. Without having the mail(yeah Users make no sense when I asked why he didn't want to sync email he said he only wanted the calendar) but again, without the emails coming in(which have the calendar events) it was just a wicked bottleneck of the user thinking they could simplify things when they caused their own troubles. They had Calendar Sync'd, but Mail not Sync'd, and they had unchecked the contacts, not wanting that many people "Added to their contacts" but by not having those contacts most if not all events would not show up on their calendar. I had something like the iPhone portion of that problem. Not 100% sure where to start as far as troubleshooting at this point, as I can't seem to reproduce the issue. To my knowledge, I have no other user in our organization encountering the above issues. Probably a separate issue, but worth noting here. We've completely deleted and resetup his Exchange account on his phone (deleting all calendar events that were on his phone), but it doesn't appear that the syncing is always working. He is also reporting that some of his calendar events are not showing up in his iPhone. When he double-clicks on a given meeting reminder, it opens up the meeting in his calendar, but the event is no where to be found in his calendar.Īlmost acts like a phantom meeting, to give it a word. He is reporting that he is still getting meeting reminders for events that are no longer on his calendar (that have either been deleted or cancelled from the meeting organizer).

Some Exchange and CalDAV services: An email is sent automatically to the organizer. We utilize Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 and I have an office user operating Outlook 2010. A calendar notification may also appear in the upper-right corner of the organizer’s screen, depending on the organizer’s Calendar settings in Notifications preferences. Recent Exchange services and some CalDAV services: The organizer can click the Notifications button in the toolbar, click New, then find your proposal in the notifications list. ICloud and most other services: You’re offered the option to send the organizer an email. How the organizer is notified about your proposed time change depends on the type of calendar service. To cancel a proposed time, drag it back to the original time. If the event is on a calendar service that tracks availability and lets you add a comment to the organizer, you can double-click or force click the event, click Propose a New Time in the event info window, then select one of the listed new times. In Week or Month view, drag the event to a new day, then click Propose or Cancel.
